Shanka Jayasinha is an investor and entrepreneur.

He graduated from the University of Miami in a record-setting 2 years where he obtained his B.A in Economics while being a student-athlete. After graduating, he became the youngest analyst for a Swiss Fintech firm, which led him to work with Sovereign Funds, Institutional Investors & UHNWIs. During this time, Shanka founded, invested in and consulted for several companies ranging from TMT to Healthcare.

As his interest in artificial intelligence grew, Shanka authored Welcome to Tomorrow: An introductory handbook to AI and its impact on Society before founding Edge, a Fintech company that aimed to improve institutional investors’ decision-making regarding their public & private investments through the use of AI. After exiting Edge, Shanka focused his efforts on S&J.
